I am very happy to announce that the next Rose Life Benefit Concert will take place at Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Claremont, CA this Saturday, Valentine’s Day, February 14 at 7:00 PM. The purpose of these concerts is to build awareness and community involvement for our quality pregnancy help centers and to share in the beauty of music. We are very fortunate to have James Vaskov who will accompany me on the piano. We’ll be performing works by composers such as J. S. Bach, Isabella Leonarda, Jules Massenet, Amy Beach, Lili Boulanger, and my original piece entitled “Crystal Cove”. Attendance is free and donations will be accepted to benefit Assure Pregnancy Clinic in Fontana. The concert is hosted by OLA for Life. For more information about the Rose Life Benefit Concert Series, please visit daniellerosariaviolinist.com/roselife.

Rose Life Mission Statement:

To uphold human dignity and help women, men, and babies in need by raising awareness of our local pregnancy counseling centers and to encourage community involvement by means of an ongoing concert series of classical music paying tribute to the gift of life.

“Solitude”

Recently I had the opportunity to work with my friend and colleague Ken Glaser to create a solo CD entitled “Eternal Dream”. It was my first solo CD that included original compositions. One of these is entitled “Solitude”. Written for three violins, I always felt like it was pictorial in nature and had the growth and flow of a story, but I never thought I would get to see it actually put to film. Through the direction and filming of Ken Glaser and the interpretation of ballerina/choreographer Anneliese Klages, this video of “Solitude” came to be. Filmed in Southern California’s scenic Craig Regional Park, the video captures the pain of loss and the discovery of inner strength. My special thanks to both Ken and Annaliese for having the vision to set “Solitude” to dance.
