Salastina Music Society

The Salastina Music Society is bringing chamber music to today’s audiences! This is a new group worth following! Here’s a bit about them from their website:

“The Salastina Music Society is a new non-profit organization dedicated to presenting world-class performances of chamber music. Incorporating the goals of broad audience appeal and innovative programming, Founders/Artistic Directors Maia Jasper and Kevin Kumar purposefully design each program to be slightly shorter than the average classical music concert.”, salastinasociety.com.

Salastina Music Society performs Vivaldi’s Trio Sonata No. 1 Op. 12 (“La Folia”). Kevin Kumar and Maia Jasper, Co-Artistic Directors and Violinists, are joined by Daniel Zuluaga (baroque guitar) and Jonathan Karoly (cello).

  1. Keep an eye on this organization. Fabulous concept and musicianship of the highest standards.
Student and advanced rates are a steal. I’d pay top dollar in the big city for this group.

They’ve done two concerts in Claremont this past year and we hope to have them back on a regular basis.
